2. Free Trial Period

All paid plans (Growth, Premium, Enterprise) include a 14-day free trial so you can test-drive our platform risk-free.
During your free trial:
- Full access to all features of your chosen plan
- No credit card required (for Starter plan)
- Cancel anytime with zero charges
- No commitment or obligations
2.2 Trial Expiration
Your subscription automatically begins after the 14-day trial. We'll send reminder emails at:
- 7 days before trial ends
- 3 days before trial ends
- 1 day before trial ends
You can cancel before the trial ends to avoid any charges.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 How to Cancel
Canceling your subscription is simple. You can do it through:
Option 1: Self-Service (Recommended)
- Log into your account
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the prompts to confirm
Option 2: Contact Support
Email support@futureex.ai with your account details and cancellation request.
3.2 When Does Cancellation Take Effect?
When you cancel, here's what happens:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
- You won't be charged for the next billing cycle
- You can continue using all features until the period ends
- Your data is preserved for 30 days after cancellation
- You can reactivate anytime within 30 days without data loss
3.3 No Prorated Refunds on Cancellation
We don't offer partial refunds for the current billing period. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the period ends but won't receive a refund for unused time.
Example: If you cancel on Day 15 of a monthly subscription, you keep access for the remaining 15 days.

4.4 Non-Refundable Items
The following are not refundable:
- Transaction Fees: Fees charged on orders (8%, 5%, 3%, 1-2% depending on plan)
- Payment Gateway Fees: Charges by Razorpay/Stripe
- Add-on Services: One-time setup or customization fees (if any)
- Renewal Payments: Subsequent billing after the first month
5. Plan Downgrades
5.1 How Downgrades Work
You can downgrade your plan anytime:
- Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- You keep access to current plan features until then
- No refund for the price difference
- Data exceeding new plan limits must be adjusted before downgrade
5.2 Plan Comparison
- Premium → Growth: Reduced products, team members, and features
- Growth → Starter: More limited products, higher transaction fees
6. Annual Subscription Plans
6.1 Annual Plan Benefits
Annual plans save you up to 20% compared to monthly billing.
6.2 Annual Plan Cancellation
For annual subscriptions:
- 30-day money-back guarantee applies to first-time annual subscribers
- After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable
- You can choose not to renew before your term ends
- Access continues for the full annual period
6.3 Prorated Refunds (Exceptions Only)
We don't offer prorated refunds for annual plans canceled mid-term, except in these cases:
- Service unavailability exceeding 7 consecutive days
- Material breach of our Terms by Futureex.ai
- Legal requirements or court orders
7. Transaction Fees
7.1 Non-Refundable Transaction Fees
Transaction fees on orders are non-refundable because:
- They're charged per transaction as orders are processed
- We incur costs from payment partners and infrastructure
- They're separate from subscription fees
7.2 Transaction Fee Rates
- Starter: 8% per order
- Growth: 5% per order
- Premium: 3% per order
- Enterprise: 1-2% per order (volume-based)
8. Service Credits for Outages
8.1 Scheduled Maintenance
Planned maintenance doesn't qualify for credits. We notify you at least 24 hours in advance.
8.2 Unplanned Outages
If we experience extended unplanned downtime (over 24 consecutive hours):
- We'll provide service credits proportional to downtime
- Credits applied to your next billing cycle
- Request credits within 30 days of the incident
- Email support@futureex.ai with details
9. Data Export and Account Closure
9.1 Before You Cancel
We recommend exporting your data before canceling:
- Go to Settings → Data & Privacy
- Click "Export Data"
- Select what to export (products, orders, customers)
- Choose format (CSV or JSON)
- Download files to your device
9.2 Data Retention After Cancellation
- First 30 Days: Full data retained, can reactivate account
- After 30 Days: Data permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
- Financial Records: Kept for 7 years for legal compliance
10. Account Termination by Futureex.ai
10.1 Violations and Fraud
If we terminate your account due to:
- Terms of Service violations
- Fraudulent activity
- Illegal use
You are not entitled to any refund, and access is immediately revoked.
11. Special Circumstances
We may offer refunds at our discretion for:
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Service failures due to our technical issues
- Unauthorized charges (report within 48 hours)
- Extenuating circumstances (case-by-case evaluation)
12. Enterprise and Custom Agreements
